Okay... I know it's been a while since I've updated IOE.com but I have been EXTREMELY busy this year recording 3 CDs for 2010. In the next couple of months, www.imagesofeden.com will be launching a new version in preparation for the upcoming release of Rebuilding The Ruins. I will also be posting news and updates on my other bands, ALL TOO HUMAN and DREAD THE FORSAKEN, both with CDs to be released in 2010. Stay tuned!

TRIP TO GUATEMALA TO RECORD...
Some opportunities come by once in a lifetime and we sometimes need to gamble. Well, I just returned from a 5 day trip from Guatemala where I recorded vocals for a metal band called DREAD THE FORSAKEN. What began as a vocal for hire type job, turned into a life changing experience. The entire trip was covered in full (from the 5 star hotel, to meals, to the flight- 1st class returning to the US). Beyond an amazing recording exprience, I got to live and breathe another culture and experience life in another world. I also made lifelong friends, guitarist Mauricio Liborio and producer Eduardo Santella. This experience definitely marked the beginning of a new long term project for me! Oh……… and if the experience wasn't a total sensory overload, Eduardo Santella arranged for Images of Eden to play the annual "Garra Chapina" festival in December of 2009 in Guatemala as "special guests from the USA". We will be playing the slot just before the headlining band, "Viernes Verde", one of the most well known rock/ metal bands in Guatemala. This festival has historically been an all day event, with 10-15 bands and a turnout of anywhere from 8,000 - 13,000 people. Now it's time to get the next CD finished and "hurry up and wait". Mauricio and I also plan to do a few local shows with Dread The Forsaken in Guatemala and El Salvador during the trip.

NEW CD- "REBUILDING THE RUINS"...
Well, after several months of living and breathing new material 24/7, the 3rd chapter in the Images of Eden saga is almost completely written. I will be putting some final touches on the last 2 songs over the next couple of weeks. After that, Dennis Mullin, Bryan Wierman and I will be ironing out last minute arrangements. Once complete, Chris Lucci will start tracking drums in TX. We hope to have it complete later in 2008. However, past experience has proven that everything takes much longer than anticipated. So far, so good, though! :).
"Rebuilding The Ruins" is a full concept CD that picks up where "Sunlight of the Spirit" left off. The last few years have been a major growing and leaning experience for me and I really feel this is conveyed through the new material. Because of this, I can honestly say that this release will be well above and beyond "Spirit". It seemed as if music (and lyrics) for the entire CD quickly poured out from an open inspirational flood gate. There will be a few guest musicians on this release as well (too soon to mention- still working out details).
I can�t wait to unleash this. I�ll keep you posted....

Happy New Year from Images of Eden!!! Well, I can honestly say that 2008 is looking to be very promising for Images of Eden. There have been a LOT of "behind the scenes" events that have taken place over 2007 (specifically the last few months) and I look forward to a very eventful year. I am in the middle of writing the 3rd chapter for Images of Eden in hopes to start recording later this year for a late 2008/ early 2009 release. In the meantime, I'll be in the Q94 studio in Altoona, PA on Sunday, January 20th for the Backyard Rocker show with Jim Price. We'll be doing an "on air" interview as well as playing many clips from "Sunlight of the Spirit".

BATTLE OF THE BANDS- This Saturday, 9/8/2007. Make sure you get out to the Old Glory Harley Davidson this Saturday, 9/8 to support us in our battle of the bands. This is an awesome opportunity because the winner gets to play for 40,000 Redskin fans at Fed-Ex field on 9/23. Also, there is going to be a ton of cool stuff happening (Redskins Cheerleaders, vendors, free food, raffles, bikini bike wash, etc.). WE WILL BE HITTING THE STAGE AT 1:50 SHARP!!!. Also, don�t forget to pick up a copy of our latest CD, Sunlight of the Spirit if you haven�t already...

Imagesofeden.com is back online!!! Our site has been temporarily down for the past week due to the incompetence of our previous web hosting service. They deleted our account with no warning or notice, conveniently right in the middle of the worldwide release of our CD. I apologize to everyone who has sent me e-mails and did not receive a response. Sunlight of the Spirit has officially been released worldwide on Nightmare Records (except for Canadian retail stores- release date will be December 5th). This includes "Main Chain" retailers such as Best Buy, Circuit City, Amazon, FYE, Sam Goody, Tower Records, etc. Also, we are the featured band at Rising Forces USA.
